QuestionHi, I have a very sick looking fish, Im pretty sure it's a madagascan pollini. A few weeks ago it had a problem where it was sinking all the time, couldn't get off the bottom, now its the opposite. Floating to the top, belly up, while trying to swim just rolls around in circles. Is this a swim bladder infection? Is it treatable?
AnswerHi Jasmin,
Hmm... unfortunately that does not sound good. It sounds like it has a serious swim bladder infection of some form. There are medications which claim to treat that sort of thing (antiobiotics mostly) but the odds of success are not good, at least in my experience. Sorry.
