alge eater

I lost an alge eater today. He was fine yeaterday eating, etc. The tank is just over 6 mos old. What could possibly have killed him? I have mollies and 2 swords in the tank.

Hi Sky,
 That is really hard to say.  He could have been attacked by one of the other fish.  Were you putting in food especially for him?  People often forgot to feed their algae eaters -- just letting them eat algae off the glass is often not enough.  I use algae wafers to feed mine.
