eating habbits

hi there and thanks for helping.if got a blood parrot, malawi chilid and 4 tiger barbs.the pet store said to feed them floating pellets.i just want to find out,is it best to feed them at day when the light is on or when its dark and the light is of because they are predator fish.and why do they stay in the corners of the tank at day time.thanks for your help.

Hi Bob,
 Definitely feed them during the day.  Fishes like the blood parrot and Malawi cichlids will sleep at night, given the chance. They do not feed at night.
