Death of our fish

Question
Recently we transfered some pond plants from anothers house and put them in ours. The next day 7 fish died could this have caused it?

Sorry about the loss of your fish.
There could be a chance the plants killed your fish.  Did the other pond have fish in? If they did a infection could have gone onto the plants then onto your fish.
Take the plants out just incase.
