geophaugs popeye?

hi,
i think my geophagus has popeye, i have 7 geophagus in my tank and 2 of them have one eye which is bulging or has a white film on it?
please help me find a way to cure it, and will this kill my fish and the other fish around them?

Hi Brendon,
 Popeye is a nasty condition. I have had very little success treating it over the years. It can be caused by many things, ranging from bacteria to physical damage caused by attacks by another fish.  Sometimes it is a combination.   Personally, I would move the two affected fish to another tank and hope that it doesn't spread to the remaining healthy fish.
