QuestionHi. Long tym. :) i am maintaining cichilids in my aquarium for th past 9 months. and i have learnt a lot from them. they are really very intelligent fish.(compared to other which i have maintained and bred). i have a doubt. CAN I KEEP SEA ANGELS WITH CICHILIDS?
my cichlids are not more than 3 inches?
USUALLY I DONT PREFER BIG FISHES IN MY TANK COS I JUST HAVE A 3 FEET (36*15). I THINK FISHES OF SIZE 3 TO 4 INCES ONLY FEEL COMFORTABLE. BUT IN THE CASE OF CICHILIDS. THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL,BRIGHT COLOURED AND ATTRACTIVE ONLY AFTER THEY GROW BIG ()AFTER 4 INCHES. IS THAT TRUE?
AnswerHi Manish,
Many cichlids do look their best when they reach adult size.
I am not sure what you mean by "Sea Angels". If you mean saltwater angelfish, then no, you cannot keep those with cichlids. Saltwater angelfish must live in saltwater and cichlids can only survive in freshwater.
