my sad fish :(

hi! my fish, well i just got him from a friend (dont know how old) but anyway, he is a tetra and all night he has been floating around, eating having a great time with all the other fish, then all the sudden he started floating around. some things on here said they left their fish over night and it worked. but whatever i can do to help this lil' feller out i will do! oh and also, do you know how to tell tetra male and female apartt? well, if you can answer my questions, that would be faboulous! thanks, kylee

He needs another tetra.  They are school fish.  They like being with more than one.

Males have a straight line down the center.  Females have a slightly curved line.  The line will curve up.
