zebra finches.

Question
why wont my zebra finches build a nest and why wont they breed?????
i feed them millet and vegetables,seeds,they have a nest,but the male wont even pick up any material,not even the female.they seem to be doing just fine.

I find Zebras incredibly hard to breed. It sounds like you're doing everything right. It sounds like they just aren't in the mood. All I can suggest is checking to make sure that they are indeed male and female; if they are, continue what you're doing and wait. There's not much else you can do
