QuestionI have 3 Zebras and 1 Society, all male. Two of the Zebras have paired up, but the other 2 haven't and the Zebra is 'calling'. I also have a solo female canary in another flight cage. Would the (gentle) male Society and the female canary get along without an inter-species breeding problem? They both are more intelligent, gentle and less 'squirrely' than the 3 Zebras.
AnswerIt is impossible for a society and a canary to breed. I do not recommend putting them together simply because of the size difference. If the Canary wanted to cause harm to the finch, there is nothing your society could do. I suggest getting another society. Societies are friendly and cheap. You don't necessarily need a society of the opposite sex. Societies just like their name, social.
