ill zebra finch

my zebra finch is about 4 years old.he has become lethargic and is not able to fly. he is not eating or drinking and i am very worried about him

Hi Jayne,
Your finch may be acting his age now...4 years is a good span for a zebra finch..although they say they can live 7-8 years,I've always believed more like 4-5.
 I would leave him quiet and warm,in a draft-free place with water beside him.  He may recover and be alright but if this is the end for him,take compfort in knowing how much you cared for him and provided for him.  I do wish you all the best,Elizabeth
