I have a young female an want to bring home a male to be with her now do I have to let them get used to each other in different cages or can I put him in with her right away ?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I didn't get the email saying I had questions. When introducing new birds, it's best to have them each in their own cage side by side so they get used to each other safely. You don't have to always do this (I don't) but you still have to watch the cage to make sure they are getting along
