Answer
Hi there,

They take about 2 weeks to hatch. The first one layed will hatch first and so on.

If they don't hatch, there are many reasons for this. They may not be fertile. Secondly, they may not have incubated them enough. If they are disturbed my humans getting constantly close to the cage, the female may well abandon them. The eggs will then get cold and die, and by the time the female feels safe enough to return, they may well be dead.

I wouldn't be surprised at any number of eggs your canary lays. As it is her first time too, don't worry too much. 5 is the average I would say, but it isn't uncommon to have less.

As for the link, if it doesn't work, try googling it. Its Harrisons Bird food I think was the link? Just put in Harrisons Bird Food and look for the Organic Bird Food Company. Don't delay in getting something sorted as you really aught not to be giving seed to the parents while they are rearing.
