Do i have to clip his claws at all?   he hates his cage but prefers to be with me and my mum out of the cage?  i read that gravil wasnt good for them is that true or not? and he also dose this little chirp and rubs his head on my cheak n lightly nips what dose that mean?Sorry i dont know how to upload from my cell

You should clip his claws whenever they get very long. Maybe once every 3 months.

Cockatiels love attention and want to be with you all the time. I suggest having 2 cages for him, a big one to put your cockatiel in when its time to sleep, make sure to cover the cage, and a cage that should go where you and your mom hang around the most. And when you want to take him out you can take him out when ever you can.

Cockatiels do not need to be fed gravel. It is not good for them.

Aw, that is a sign of affection, he is just trying to tell you he loves you, try rubbing his head gently with one finger, parrots love their head rubbed! ;)
