button quail hatching eggs

Question
I have been incubating button quail eggs,and today is day 13.  I have now stopped turning them and I hear faint tapping noises from inside the eggs.  Does this mean they are getting ready to hatch, and if so do you have any idea in approximate how long it will be.  I dont want to miss this!! Ive worked harder than I had to with these eggs because I am so excited about this experience.  Thanks

Yes this does mean they are getting ready to hatch- I always wait 24 hours- sometimes they are a bit longer, sometimes a bt shorter. Giving them that amount of time is important though, before you start helping etc.
