Foaling my miniature at someone elses farm

Hey,
i emailed you recently and you told me that (sense im a novice and my mare has never foaled before) that i could board her at a stables and they would foal her for me. I was wondering if you could give me an average price people would charge for something like that! and also, how old should the foal be before its safe for him and his mom to go out with the big horses again? thanks!

Around this area It usually runs about $250 a month to watch and care for a mare due to foal and foaling her out. I would put the mare in a boarding facility at least a month ahead of the due date. So they can get comfortable and not stress out too much before foaling. I would wait at least until the foal is a month old before moving it home. Melissa
