yearling loosing teeth

Question
I have been around horses all my life and trained them for several years.  I have a yearling that is loosing his teeth and the sole of his hooves are turning a funny color.  Do you have any idea what it could be?  I have never seen this before in my entire life.  Please Help

Hey there Angie, I'm sorry but this is something that I have never heard of before.  All I can do is tell you to speak with a vet about the issue.  Try calling you vet's office and just asking first, possibly steering clear of an unwanted bill!  Good luck, and like I said I'm sorry but that seems a bit strange to me and I don't have an answer!  Let me know how things go justinj@brinet.com
