introducing younger slider

ive had my older male turtle for about four years and i just bought a new baby slider how would i go about introducing the two? and what should i expect from them?

As long as the tank is big enough- absolutely nothing. Turtles are not social animals.

However, if the tank is too small, they will fight and the larger will almost certainly injure the smaller.

The rule of thumb for tank size is 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle. Your 4 year old should be 4-6" long, so you should be looking at a 50 or more gallon tank.
