I foung a turtle on my driveway its smaller than a silver dollar how can I tell if its a good pet or not

Wild-caught turtles are generally unhappy pets.

They have parasites that normally are no big deal, but cause problems when they are stressed. They experience what is called 'maladaptation syndrome' because of the stress of captivity, etc., etc., etc.

It is also against some laws to keep some species in some places- turtles are often covered under fishing laws, for example.
