turtle overheated? baby painted

My daughter brought her baby painted outside in the sun with no water.. we realized in time and brought it in BUT it seenms to be lethargic.. not swimming too much.(but he does) gasps for air??? She moves her feet when touched.. HELP  what can i do??  I have her in a smaller area(other hten her tank)

Hi Jeanine, sorry for the late reply. Be sure to offer her water. How warm was it outside? And was it windy? It may just be stressed, or it may be more serious. Is she eating? Is she doing any better?

Is she still gasping for air? Or did it stop after the first day
