Strange thing in turtle tank

WHile cleaning out Sparticus the turtle today we found a rubbery oval white thing about 1 1/4 " to 1 1/2 " long.

Turtle is a red ear about 6 - 7 years, I admit to be a little lazy sometimes in cleaning him/her.  His /her shell is 10" X 8".  Hope you can help, thanks in advance Jo

If it was kind of egg-like, then it was an egg. Older females often 'drop' an egg now and then, apparently to get rid of excess hormones, etc. This sort of egg is never fertile.
