what is the best habitat for my red eared slider and what is the best food ??

Hello Jordan,

If youre using a tank make the water 3 times longer than the turtle- so if he is 4 inches, go 12 inches with the water. set the tank up as natural as possible
he needs a basking area where he is out of the waer with heat and uvb.
Make sure he gets outside time as well.

i use ponds but not all people have the room for that, but I like them because they get all natural care,.

i feed mine a variety of foods from fresh feeders that some remain with us lol. We have several that I assume were just to fast because they have lived with us 2 yrs now in the same ponds as the turtles.
They enjoy a variety of foods worms, meats pellets
