Terrapin Injured ???

terrapin I noticed a small hole kind of thing near my terrapin's lip.. he is not injured because i saw skin coming out slowly..daily.. but it is like a hole... he eats normally and is active, infact over active... i m not sure he is 100% FINE, can i post his pics???? can anyone tell me he's ok..recently his shell is turning whitish... and is dry..very dry

This sounds like a fungal infection, if it is at the top of the mouth it can be where he lost his eye tooth which is used to crack the egg. you can send me the picture and i will try to evaluate it guidedbywolf@yahoo.com then illl be able to advise more.
