slider turtles mouth

I have a red ear slider turtle juvenile. I looked inside her mouth and it seemed like it had teeth! DOES IT NEED SURGERY, DENTAL CARE, OR DOES IT HAVE DISEASE! PLEASE GIVE ME THE INFORMATION SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Hi Ricky,

I'm afraid I can't help you much with this one.  All you should be able to see in a RES's mouth is its tongue, which should be light pink and lay flat in the bottom jaw.  From what you describe, it sounds like your turtle has an infection of some type, so I'd suggest that you get her to a vet as soon as you can to have it checked out.
