turtle with a gold shell

i have a painted turtle, not sure how old, and a baby map turtle.
rose, the painted turtle, has lately has had a gold shell.
spots have came up on her shell, that are gold, and can be seen under the light.
the water in about 70-75 degrease.
my question is, is it ok to have a gold spot on her shell?

Hi Avery  I am sorry this took so long to respond to I have a virus on my computer.

The shell issue us a fungus area and will need to be cleaned and treated,. You can google "Treatment for turtle fungus at home"  and will read about the solution.  THere is table salt involved.
