Question
i recently bought an obese 2 meter Burmese python, she shows all the signs of obesity.. she doesn't even strike... more like sniff then bite and coil around the prey
is there any way i could fix her diet ? and will it help her get her health back ?

Answer
Burmese are large bodied boids to begin with so make sure she is actually overweight before you go forward (they definately can be).  Then, if she is, simply restrict her diet.  One rat every two weeks and nothing more.  I'm happy with the weight on my large one and I feed them one large rat per week to maintain it.  They get a larger item every couple of months if they need it.  But that seems to work for me.
