spikey - puffy eyes

Hi Tracie,  thanks for the reply.  I start a new question as the other thread was too long.  Spikey is 8 months old.  Spikey went about 36 hours without any uvb before putting in the reptisun 10.0.  I will start the herbal tea eye soaks tonight.  I will take him to get a blood draw at the vet asap.  He really did not eat anything yesterday.  That was the first time he hasn't eaten all day usually he eats all his veggies.    I will hand feed him baby food today and try with the worms and crickets again.  I will let you know what the vet results are after I get the info.  Could heart/renal issues have been caused also by the powersun lamp that we used back in october that caused his first eye problems?

Hello Alana,

Yes, they only allow so many questions/follow ups on a thread.
How is Spikey doing?  He would be very young to have renal or heart issues, but, it is not impossible.  A blood test would reveal any problems with the organs.
I don't think the Powersun would have caused any renal or heart issues.  
You may not have given him enough time off without UVB after the Reptiglo 10 before putting the Reptisun 10 bulb.  So definitely give him a couple of weeks without any UVB light & just keep his basking light over him.
Let me know how the herbal tea bags do for him.
