my python

Question
I have a ball python, and I just recently found out they need a hiding place to
eat because when i bought him t hey didn't mention that to me, so now im
wondering when I put a snake log from the pet store in there will he
automatically hide and eat since hes been eatin without hiding? ...and also
should I be concerned when he doesnt eat, I know they can go a ways without
eatin but Maybe im doing somethin wrong..I thaw out the frozen mouse in warm
water for aboooout 10 min or so, and dangle infront of him, should i take him
out of his cage?

Hi Marie,

your royal/ball needs the hiding spot to relax and sleep under, not to eat, balls are infamouse for being slow and even non eaters espeacially wild caughts from africa, so if yours is eating for you that is great, keep up the same routine that you have going now, if he goes for two three weeks with out eating then we will worry.but sounds like you are doing good.
