Question
I have six brown anoles the male anoles are fighting each other and every second they all are showing dewlaps and doing this little movement look like they are doing pushups what does that mean? I also have a green tree frog inside with them hes usually in his own world but is he safe with them? Today I saw one of my Anoles pin another one down and was humping were they doing what I think they were doing help me out please these lizard activitys are amazing.

Answer

Mating Anoles
Unless the cage you have them in is huge you have way too many animals in one enclosure and they're fighting for territory and females and have nowhere to retreat.  The bobbing motion is them signaling to a female usually. I would take a few of them out of the cage.

As for were they having sex or not this is what anoles look like when mating so you can be the judge.
