Is That Normal

My Bearded Dragons Throat Is Big I Feed Him And It Sits in His Throat!He Eats Fine And When i Looked In His Throat Today I Couldnt See Any Food? And Hes Skinny Again. Plus His Tail Is Short I Think It Stopped Growing! Is Everything Ok? I Dont Have A Vet Near Me That Takes Lizards Anymore.

 I would suggest you go to http://www.herpvetconnection.com   or:
http://www.arav.org  and find a new vet.  If he's getting skinny, but still eating, there is something going on and you should should have him checked.  If there is a zoo, see what exotics vet they use, even ask the pet shop which one they know of.  The ASPCA would know where to find an exotics specialist, herpetological societies, and regular vets can also give you that information.  Don't give up!  I'm sure there is someone to be found.
