Question
I have had a baby monitor since march, up until 4 days ago he was eating fine, moving around normally.  now his front legs won't move and he's stopped eating and is getting very weak, he will still drink but only if i help him.  there are no rep vets in my area or else i'd have him there already, he is about 4-5 inches long.

Answer
I tried answering this yesterday but something kept my answer from registering.  Something is wrong with your set-up or diet.  Either you don't have the proper lighting, or it may be a parasite issue.  In any case, at this point he needs definitive treatment.  And that can be only at a good reptile vet.  You can call a regular vet and ask where the nearest one is, that is what I did.  I bring my lizards to a vet 45 minutes away, and I know others who travel over 2 hours to get to a vet.  He needs one as soon as possible.  You can try and locate one nearest you using this link:
