QUESTION: Do I turn off basking light at night he has a uv light as well I just wasn't sure if I needed to leave both lights on all day and night

ANSWER: Hi Kathy
Like any animal Diurnal lizards need it to be dark at night to sleep

Collard lizards should have all lights turned off at night
This also lets their tank/enclosure cool down as it would outdoors

can you please describe your setup (or include a pic)and the heater
I am not clear on exactly what type of "stick on" heater that you are using

With water dragons you want to maintain a balance where they are warm enough to digest their food but not too hot to over heat

Again-if what you are doing is working for you and he is healthy then I would just continue doing everything that you have been doing
