aggressive spayed female

I would like to know how common it is for a female to become aggressive during breeding season after being spayed?  What suggestions do you have and how long can I expect this?  Someone said that since we have taken her estrogen out she still has testosterone in full force.

How long ago did your female get spayed?  Is she on any hormone replacement?  
Does she appear to be in any pain?  She should not really be aggressive though, that could indicate some type of problem going on.  
Has she tried to bite or does she hiss?
