Question
i found a horny tosd today which is about half the size of our leopard gecko.  do they eat the same bugs and can they live together?

Answer
Hello Joey,

You are talking about the Horned toad, correct?
It would not be a good idea to house them together.  Horned toads eat mostly harvester ants & need it warm & dry.
They startle easily & can shoot blood out of their eyes if scared to defend themselves.
Leopard geckos need some humidity & they too, are a bit shy & startle easily also.  That would not be a good mixture as it would stress them both out.
Leopard geckos eat worms, & crickets, but not ants.
Horned toads are very hard to raise in captivity so it is best to do a good bit of research on them before taking them in.
