Question
QUESTION: My cat knocked the lid of our baby bearded dragon hatchlings cage he is about a month and a half old she scratched him i the corner of his eye and trough his nostrill there is a flap cut on the tip of his nose he seemed ok aside from the cuts but then started trhashing around mostly just his head but also rolling over, is he dying? should we put him out of his misery? is there anythingwe can do to comfort him?

ANSWER: Hello Stevie,

It sounds like he is in really bad shape though, do you see any major puncture wounds on him?
He could be dying, or seriously off balance from an injury to the head.  If he keeps rolling over like that, he is probably in pain.
Can you get him to the vet?
For now, try to keep him warm over night so he is comfortable.  Wrap him up in a blanket & just make sure he is able to sleep well.
Did you clean up his cuts with some diluted betadine?  Can you post a picture of him?

QUESTION: Well we thought we had the lid fixed but that goddamn cat was determined and got in again she killed the injured one and injured the one that was unharmed the first time and he has a small puncture wound on his chin close to his neck and about an eitght of an inch round cut under his right front arm, what is betadine and where can we get it I am currently trying to search for reptile vets in my area. We just cleaned it with filtered water and a q-tip for now can we use polysporin?

Answer
Hello Stevie,

Damn cats, it is just not a good idea to have a cat in where you keep your reptiles.  They are just too risky or a mix.  I am sorry.
How is he doing today?  Yes, you can use polysporin.  Is he eating anything at all?  How is his mouth?
Can you post a picture of him?
Perhaps you can make a cage/tank that has a heavy locking or latching lid that your cat simply cannot get in no matter how hard he tries.
