Beardies eyes

My adult bearded dragon has been keeping his eyes closed and has been very lethargic. At first it was one eye and now it is both. They seem to get crusted over and one eye looks red and maybe swollen in the interior corner of his eyelid. I have tried turtle eye drops with limited success. Any advice? Your help is greatly appreciated.

If this is a persistent problem, I would strongly suggest taking him to the vet.  It sounds like he has a really bad eye infection and it is possibly affecting his entire body (since he's lethargic.)  If he's not active and wanting to eat/bask, he will become dehydrated very quickly.  Keep the eyes clean and give him some extra soaks in warm water until you can get him into see the vet.
