how do you tell the sex of a bearded dragon.

Answer
Place the dragon on the upturned palm of your hand, his butt end facing you.  Lift the tail straight up and look just above the vent.  If you see two bulges side by side with a dimple in the middle, you have a male.  If there is only a single "pouchyness" above the vent, then chances are you have a female.  Be aware that looks can be deceiving until they are 6 months old, especially if you are thinking female, in a few weeks, poof, here come the bulges!
