geckos colour changing

Hi. We have a leopard gecko and suddenly his color has changed from his usual yellow to a dull green color and he doesn't seem to be eating as much. What is wrong with him? what should we do?

Hello Hayley,

Your gecko is most likely getting ready to shed.  They do turn a very dull color but then they clear up right before they shed.  
They usually do not eat as much prior to shedding, either.  Do you have a moist humid hide/cave for him to help with shedding?
You could post some pictures of him for me too, just so I can see him if you would like to.
