ANOLES AND FROGS

CAN I PUT A FROG I FOUND OUT SIDE IN WITH MY ANOLES. I LIVE ON LONG ISLAND N.Y. WHAT OTHER LIZARDS AND FROGS CAN BE HOUSED TOGETHER?

Answer
Depends on the frog.  If it's a little tree frog and the anoles are the small green ones ok.  But, if it's a "big" frog or a toad it will eat the anoles.  Frogs will eat ANYTHING that moves and that they THINK can fit in their mouths.  I once dissected a frog (regular leopard frog) which had not only a full grown crayfish in it's stomach but also a baby crayfish!  Total weight of the two had to have been 80% of the frogs weight.
