Question
My sister wants a bearded dragon but she only has a small room so I was wondering what size an adult bearded dragon tank has to be in foot like I've heard babies go in 3ft tanks but other people tell me different so how big are they? Would she be better with another leopard gecko or not?

Answer
Hi,
thank you for your question.
A adult bearded dragon should have a tank that's at least 6 ft long in my opinion. They grow big, about 20" long (including the tail) and with the right lighting and temperature, they are very active and run and climb a lot. You can have a smaller tank for juvenile,s but they grow so fast that you will need a big enclosure after six months.
I hope I was of some help to you
