QuestionHi
I have 2 Females one a Netherland Dwarf amd the other is a Mini Lop. and i have got a Male Netherland Dwarf
5 Weeks ago the Netherland Dwarf had 2 Babies and they are fine they are away from her for a week now and they are going fine
Last Sunday (17 September) My Mini Lop had her first babie and it was born defect it only had 3 Legs
and it died.
Then Yesterday my Neitherland Rabbit had another 2 Babies and they both died but one of them was also had defects it only had 3 Legs
do you know what would cause them to be deformed
do you think that it might be the Male Rabbit if it is is there any thing that i can do or should i hust not use him to breed with.
Also i live in Adelaide and i would like to know if you knew where i can get a nother Male to breed my rabbits with either a Pure Netherland or a Pure Mini Lop Please let me know
Thanks
Hayley
Answerhi hayley- it sounds as though the buck has some generic faults he may be to far inbred which means his offspring could be deformed .
get a new buck and dont use the one you have again.
i live in the uk and have no idea where to obtain rabbits in australia.sorry
