Petting

My bunny is a floppy eared dwarf and every time I pet him he ducks it's weird but he isn't breathing hard so I don't know if he's scared or just comforted?

If he is a floppy eared dwarf, then it must be a holland lop. They really prefer being petted on the body more than the head. Stroke the body from the neck down like you would pet a dog or cat.
