My doe has just had babies, and I was wondering when I can put the male back in the cage with them.

Dear Jennifer,

The male will impregnate the female within *minutes* of being with her, so please do not put him with her any sooner than when the babies are fully weaned at the age of eight weeks.  To allow her to become pregnant so often is very bad for her health.  Before you reunite them, please read:
