QuestionMy rabbit seems to be making these funny coughing noises. It sounds a bit like his nose is blocked. He's not been 100% the past few days and isn't eating that much. His behaviour has been the same as normal. He's about 8 months old and has been speyed.
Please help me help him.

Several different things can cause coughing, and among them are an upper or even lower respiratory infection. These (especially the latter) requires the immediate attention of a good rabbit vet, especially if you've noticed your rabbit is not acting himself and doesn't have a good appetite. Dental problems such as molar spurs can also cause coughing and inappetence, and can be a real pain for the poor bunny. Please see:

This should give you enough starting information to know what to ask the vet when you bring your bunny. And I would do this sooner, rather than later. If it's pneumonia, it needs to be treated as an emergency.
