cant hold rabbit

we have 2 siamese satin does and they do not want to be picked up. my kids are showing them in a local stock show so they HAVE to pick them up.I was told to give them benadryl to help them calm down for show.is this safe? we are very sensitive when it comes to animals so of course we baby them as much as possible. what can we possibly do to get them in the show safely?

hi lizabeth -dont give them anything to calm them down -all you need to do is take them out every day and groom them so they get use to you then when they have confidance in you they will be ok.

in the uk where i live if a rabbit will not stay still on the judging table they are disqualified.
