Behaviour problems

Why does our 6 month old dwarf rabbit hate being handled & picked up? when my hands get close to him he will scratch & bite. This behaviour only started about 3 months ago. Should he be neutered? Please advise, Thanks.

  well the only reason i can think of is that your rabbit my think you are a fret or its just natural because i use have a rabbit just the same.
What you need to try and do is before you go and stroke your rabbit just open the cage door and just gently talk to your rabbit in a nice soft voice.Then try and stroke your rabbit.This isnt going to work striaght away cause its going to take time and patience and its worth it in the end.
When your rabbit trust you to stroke him then you can try and pick him up.
