rabbit gone very floppy

Question
my rabbit is about 6 months old and yesterday its front legs seemed to be giving way-we booked in at the vets and its got progressively worse to the point where he can't move at all and is very floppy-he drops his head at times and doesn't seem to have a blink reflex-he had steroid and antibiotic injections but the vet was abit stumped as we don't think hes injured himself,he's an indoor rabbit and theres nothing he could have eaten to cause it.we're seeing the vet later but any ideas on what could be the cause-he's been well till now-Thanks Sally

Answer
hi sally=i may be wrong but i suspect the rabbit has had a stroke-its very common in rabbits and can happen at any time.it may be a bacterial infection caused it so you need to clean out his cage really well to eliminate any bugs.it could also be a heat stroke.
