birth control

I have a male and female dwarf rabbits. They like eachother and like to stay together, they don't fight. I would like to find a way to keep them together, so i thought maybe if is some kind of birth control for either one. If not, I'm getting ready to nuter "Marchelo" or you think I should spay Lili?

Hi Eli. The only birth control for rabbits is to have one of them neutered. Yes, I think the best thing would be to get Marchelo neutered. It will probably cost less, the surgery will be easier for the male than the female and it will stop Marchelo from wanting to ride on Lili. If you just spay Lili Marchelo won't know and he will continue to try to breed with her and she will become quite unhappy about it.     Pat
