Sneezes and Snuffles

Question
I have a 3 month old male French Lop.  He seems extremely heathy.  He is a house rabbit and I give him more than enough excersise.  He races through the house.  He has lots of energy.  I'm worried because he sneezes.  His nose is not matted and seems to be dry when I check it and I don't get puss or goopy stuff out of his eyes.  His eyes are clear and I really have no indication that he has the snuffles.  Also, he does not make sounds when breathing so I also have no indication of any internal respiratory problems.  I use a cat litter that is very similar to the ferret litter that you can buy that is paper pellets.  I have VETRx that is commonly sold at rabbit shows for snuffles.  He is the only rabbit I have.  Do you think he has the snuffles or there is something in his environment that makes him sneaze?

Answer
Dear Brittany,

Many lop rabbits have foreshortened faces that predispose them to sinus problems and chronic upper respiratory infections.  At his age, he's probably too young to be showing serious signs of his lop anatomy.  But keep an eye out for any sign of mucus/snot when he sneezes.

I would not worry if all else seems fine.  But please see:

and find a good rabbit vet here:

so you don't have to search in frantic panic if you ever should need one in a hurry.

I hope he'll be fine, and you'll have many, many happy years together.
