Question
QUESTION: I purchased a pig on June 2 and it does not seem to have much of an appetite.the breeder said it was eating cracked corn.I have tried mini pig food and even some cracked corn but it does n ot eat very much.

ANSWER: When a pig does not eat the problem is very serious. This piglet needs to see a vet at once.
The problem could be serious illness, or an internal problem (possibly a blockage). Or the piglet might be far to young to eat corn or mini pig pellets.
Offer the piglet some goats milk or sow replacement formula.

QUESTION: I mistated the age . she is 6 weeks old.  She just nibbles at the food. What should we do.

Answer
As I said before, offer her some goats milk or sow replacement formula.
A six week old piglet should be able to eat starter pellets moistened with milk or water.
A six day old piglet needs goats milk or sow replacement formula.
Either way, this piglet needs to see a vet at once. The piglet might be ill, suffering from an internal blockage, or have a dental problem. These are things that can not be identified through e-mail, a vet needs to see your piglet.
