I have a little 6 month old male pot belly He weighs 45 lbs and we have been waiting for 4 wks for our little girl pot belly....... Well she came this past Sunday!!!! we are in LOVE !!!!   problem is last night I notice she is a HE...... OMG  I love this guy But we waited to long to get our #1 pig neutered  On the 5th of next month and now another neuter...... They said they will trade her but I was wondering if 2 neutered males can live together Harmoniously in our Home??????  Please give me a clue asap  thanks Tena

Yes, two neutered males will get along together nicely. Pigs are very individual, each pig has his or her own unique personality. So personality is far more important than gender. I've had 4 neutered males living happily together for 13 years.

Pigs reach emotional maturity around age 2. This is also about the time a neutered male will have tusks starting to poke out from his lips. At this point, the younger pig may decide to be "boss hog" and they may argue a bit. Just let them work it out between themselves.

A baby piglet is irresistible! But, it's important to continue to shower your older pig with love. It will help him adjust to his new little brother.
